Successful Neighborhood Reception on March 4, 2009

general-thumbOver sixty Villagers attended the March 4, 2009 neighborhood reception at the home of Sally Scott and Kevin Kearney.  Tim Wohlgenant, Colorado Director of the Trust for Public Land spoke about the Trust's current goals and priorities.  The Trust is currently working with a number of municipalities in metro Denver.  The Trust helps municipalities purchase land to be preserved.  Larry Kueter presented the nuts and bolts of conservation easements.  He talked about the tax advantages that accompany placing a conservation easement on one's properties.  To learn more about this, go to the Conservation Easement link.
